As one of the leading preparatory schools in England, Bilton Grange offers an extensive range of academic subjects, sports and activities that are tailored to the age and ability of children as they move through the school.
While achievement is prized and encouraged, the school is not academically selective and accommodates a wide range of abilities.
Throughout the school, teaching is firmly focused on nurturing each child’s strengths and helping them overcome weaknesses.
Children are prepared for entrance to senior school through study for the Common Entrance and Scholarship Exams and other private school entrance exams.
Bilton Grange puts great emphasis on the importance of creative arts, which are combined with the academic curriculum to offer young students as many experiences as possible during the early years of their education.
Sport is also an integral part of the curriculum and both boy and girls take part in sports on at least 4 afternoons every week, choosing from a selection of team sports.
Bilton Grange offers full, weekly and flexible boarding for both boys and girls from aged 8 onwards. Pupils who choose to board are welcomed into a friendly community that includes both local and international pupils, and quickly become part of the family atmosphere of their boarding house.
Under the watchful eye of dedicated boarding house staff, children increase their confidence and sense of independence and are able to take part in a full and busy programme of evening and weekend activities.
