The school’s urban campus is ideally located near Lake Geneva and Montreux and boarding students live in a large house in Clarens where they get to enjoy the many wonders of life in Switzerland.

From its very foundation back in 1927, St. George’s International School was designed as an egalitarian institution where children from all over the world could develop their inner talents and skills in an idyllic environment.
Academics:
When it comes to the academic programmes, the offer is both challenging and rewarding. Junior students follow follow a programme, “learning means the world” which follows the English National Curriculum the British National Curriculum and Senior students can choose between the Pre-IB Diploma, the IGCSE, the IB Diploma and the High School Diploma.
If that weren’t enough, classes are conducted in English and French allowing students to become fluent bilingual speakers. Additional languages such as Spanish, German can also be learnt and practiced on a daily basis since there are over 60 nationalities enrolled in the school.
This ensures that students not only live amidst a multicultural environment but also grow tolerant of different beliefs, religions and lifestyles.
Extra-curricular activities:
A great deal of focus is put on liberal arts and the humanities at St. George’s International School. From a very young age students are encouraged to grow a mind of their own and explore their creativity through art & craft classes and inspiring cultural trips. Collaborations with NGOs are also very frequent and allow students to develop a social conscience.
