ENSR resides in a quiet and safe neighbourhood of Lausanne, a historic town that straddles the picturesque Lake Geneva about one hour from Geneva. Founded in 1906, ENSR has been fostering esteemed alumni in Switzerland for over 110 years. Within the student body of 600, we have over 40 different nationalities, making for a truly multicultural community.
A non-profit structure allows the school to remain contemporary and relevant in its educational approach, which promotes a innovation as well as traditional values. A family-oriented learning environment and small class sizes allow teachers to provide a personalized learning experience.

Academics:
Students may undertake all studies from Grade 7 and above entirely in English through the English-French Programme.
The Kindergarten Programme:
A Montessori program in English and French for students aged 2,5 to 5. Focus is placed on developing self-discipline, autonomy, and psychomotor skills. Extracurricular activities are compulsory during lunch breaks and optional after school.
The Primary School Programme:
Bilingual French-English education for Grades 1 to 4 based on a curriculum which prepares students for the Swiss Maturity or International Baccalaureate. German is introduced in Grade 4 and students discover educational technology tools.
The Middle School Programme:
Bilingual French-English education for Grades 5 to 8 with a 10- subject common core syllabus. A particular focus is on improving English and French with either German or Spanish as a third language. Advanced proficiency in education technology and multimedia tools.
The High School Programme:
Bilingual education for Grade 9 and 10 students to prepare for either the Swiss Maturity Programme or the International Baccalaureate Programme. Between the ages of 15 and 18, high school students begin to assert their confidence and are full of ideas as they sharpen their thoughts and prepare to become adults.
The Swiss Maturity Diploma:
This programme consists of 13 subjects, of which there is 1 specific option, 1 complimentary option and a dissertation.
The Swiss Maturity allows access to all universities in the world, including Swiss polytechnics which are of international repute.
The International Baccalaureate Programme:
The IB is a two year programme which can be studied in English or in French. It consists of 6 subjects: 3 at Higher Level, 3 at Standard Level. In addition, there is a Theory of Knowledge component and an Extended Essay. CAS activities (Creativity, Action, Service) compliment the offering.

Summer Camp:
The summer camp in Champéry is an opportunity to enjoy part of the long summer holidays in a beautiful environment in the mountains. It is for the students of the school as well as for young people from 9 to 18 from all over the world.
