Le Grand Bellevue Hotel is situated in the Saanenland region in Gstaad, encircled by beautiful parkland.

The hotel is located in the centre of Gstaad village and its popular Promenade.

The train station is located just three minutes away, the ski resort is about nine-minute walk and Zurich is about two-and-half-hour drive from the hotel.

Le Grand Bellevue Hotel has 57 elegant and spacious rooms and suites in total, offering guests a relaxing and comfortable stay during their holidays in the Swiss Mountains.

The rooms are modern and stylishly designed, and feature stunning views of the surrounding mountains or the private parklands. Bathrooms are bright and spacious and filled with Bamford bath products.

The hotel features a 170sqm luxurious penthouse, which is well-equipped with modern amenities such as walk-in showers, surround sound systems, giant flat-screen TV and Nespresso machines.

For guests with large families, there are suites with connecting rooms offering everything they need for a luxury holiday.

Spa & Wellness

The enhanced wellness offering at the 3,000sqm Le Grand Spa — amongst the largest spas in Switzerland — draws on the fresh air, health-giving botanicals and ice-capped peaks of the Swiss Alps for a holistic wellness experience.

Offering 17 unique wellness experiences, the vast and varied Thermal Oasis is the perfect place to soothe aching muscles after a hard day of hiking the steep mountain trails.

New experiences include a relaxing and softly-scented Hay Sauna, invigorating Ice Fountain and detoxifying Infra-Red Sauna, in addition to the revitalising Himalayan Salt Grotto, relaxing Herbal Sauna, authentic Finnish Sauna and soothing Laconium.

The adjoining courtyard garden has been transformed with an effusion of colourful and fragrant alpine plants and the addition of new outdoor experiences including a stimulating Kneipp Walk, yoga space and outdoor relaxation pool.

Two new relaxation areas, including a silent room with water beds, offer peace and quiet between treatments, with free-flowing herbal iced teas.

The spa overhaul has also seen the addition of a brand new Alpine Spa Suite. Designed for two guests to indulge in a day of luxurious pampering side-by-side, the suite boasts a Jacuzzi, Rasul chamber, scrub table and relaxation area.

For the ultimate indulgence, Le Grand Spa’s Rituals offer hours of pampering in soothing surroundings.

Treatments ranging from calming goat milk and honey baths with fresh mountain botanicals to Alpine salt scrubs, mineral-rich Rasul mud masks and bespoke massages are combined with light regional refreshments in serene surroundings.

Food & Drinks

LEONARD’s – Le Grand Bellevue’s flagship restaurant has one Michelin star, and serves delicious international cuisine steeped in Swiss gastronomic tradition in a calm and relaxed environment.

Le Petit Chalet on the Promenade features an intimate Swiss dining experience in a wooden cottage.

Le Grand Bellevue has a Sushi Bar with take-away service, which serves expertly hand-rolled sushi and ocean-fresh sashimi for Sushi-lovers.

The hotel’s debonair Art Décor Bar has a welcoming and friendly dining atmosphere with a racing green zinc-topped bar, dramatic domed ceilings and 17-m custom-made Chesterfield. The bar has a perfect setting for cocktails such as Bellevue Smash, Devil’ Playground and Fairy-tale. Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea at the Piano Lounge.

The hotel’s cocktail lounge bouquet will re-launch in December 2017 and it will be focusing on molecular mixology.

Other facilities include a Private Cinema, a Club House and a Cigar Lounge.

The hotel Grand Bellevue is beautifully designed, they have a fantastic staff, and great facilities. The spa is amazing, with so many different types of steam rooms, cold rooms, and saunas that I lost track. Daniel Koetser, the owner, is especially nice and welcoming. We stayed four nights, and I would highly recommend this hotel if you're ever in Gstaad.

We stayed at the Bellevue in June to celebrate the wedding of our close friend. We were impressed by the wonderful and modern decor. Particularly, we were impressed by the first rate service we received. All requests were met with warmth and efficiency, a rare combination in any part of the world. The breakfast was royal and delicious. The spa, refreshing and luxurious. Overall, this is a great spot to visit the mountains from in the summer. The hotel is the perfect balance between subdued elegance and natural charm.

Being all Hoteliers ourselves and beeing in Gstaad as bride&groom with Entourage for our civil wedding, we were very difficult to please... But indeed the Grand Bellevue managed to not only go the extra mile but also to WOW us... No special request was too difficult to be fulfilled by the charming gentlemen and ladies at the Front Office, the Concierge and the portiers (the range went from getting a movable make-up mirror for the bride to special "click" cigarettes for the bridesmaids as well as a romantic setup for the couple in the evening..) At the bar Lounge we also received excellent service from Diana... Afternoon tea, room service and even breakfast (which is, in most of the hotels, far below the dinner service standards) were absolutely fabulous (the fluffiest French Toast we have ever had!) But in this hotel not only the service and staff (from housekeeping to the GM) are beyond comparison, but also the hardware, all rooms we had were amazingly beautiful, and the Turm Suite for the bridal couple was breath-taking! The spa and pool are obviously top notch, especially with the lounge area outside which catches the evening sun… Bref, thank you to the Grand Bellevue Team for all your efforts and for making our special day perfect!
