This was our 2nd visit to this hotel, repeating our trip from last year. Again we had a lovely time and everything lived up to expectations. The hotel's best feature is it's ability to exude a quiet confidence. It is a first class property without the stuffiness of would-be competitors. Staff are always courteous and efficient. Restaurants produce excellent quality food. Its location opposite the ski school cannot be beaten for us. The swimming pool and spa facilities are superb. One suggestion from me is to publish more openly (or simply provide at booking or closer to time of arrival) a timetable for which restaurants are open and when. We booked the dine around option thinking everything would be available and when we had our confirmations back, a couple of options had been moved to something else without a reason. Only finding out why when we checked in. a calm and relaxed place.

As mentioned above, we are always pleased with our experience at the Kulm. Only one unfortunate experience spoiled one evening: this was at the Stuva Cuolm restaurant on Wednesday 20 March where the service was bad and we were kept waiting for half an hour with no dessert menu and eventually very cold coffee. We were not given any apology or discount for this, despite the knowledge of the General Manager Mr Coli. This should not happen at a hotel like the Kulm. See comment above about the Stuva.
