The resort is located about 30 minutes away from Lisbon and 10minutes away from the UNESCO heritage town of Sintra, which was once a stunning retreat for the Portuguese royalty in the 14th century.

Rooms & Suites

The luxury resort has 194 luxury rooms and suites, which features large panoramic windows offering spectacular views of the golf course and the mountain.

The rooms and suites feature luxurious and spacious marble bathrooms with shower cabin, double basins, separate bathtub and toiletries from Asprey.

Each room is well-equipped with working desks, Nespresso machines, high-speed internet access, LED TVs, iPod docking station, and air conditioning.

Spa & Wellness

Penha Longa Spa is a haven of serenity and pure relaxation. The 1,500sq.m Spa offers a wide range of treatments and therapies using Natura Bisse brand products.

The spa is located several minutes from the resort’s main building and it features a variety of modern spa facilities such as a contrast pool, Jacuzzi, three-meter waterfall, nine treatment rooms, a private suite, Portugal’s only Meditation Labyrinth and two gazebo for yoga and meditation.

There’s a fitness centre in the spa area, which is well-appointed with Technogym equipment.

There are wellness experts and nutritionist to help you stay healthy and fit during your stay.

Food & Drinks

Penha Longa provides guests with signature gastronomic experiences at its wide range of restaurants.

The resort has eight restaurants ranging from Michelin-starred LAB by Sergi Arola to the oldest Japanese restaurant in Portugal – Midori.

Other restaurants include Arola, Penha Longa Mercatto, Aqua, Basque, Spices and B Lounge Bar.

Arola Restaurant offers a modern twist to Portuguese cuisine with a blend of tradition and heritage to create delicious dishes such as the Mediterranean tapas.

The seasonal poolside restaurant, AQUA offers light meals and fresh fish, while Penha Longa Mercatto offers a taste of Italy in a relaxed atmosphere.

The B Lounge is a lobby bar featuring a variety of creative cocktails by expert mixologists.

Designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones, Penha Longa Golf Course is ranked in the top 30 golf courses in Continental Europe.

The resort features two golf courses - 18-hole Atlantic course with magnificent views and the 9-hole Monastery.

The Monastery golf course is characterized by narrow fairways and artful greens with stunning landscapes of the surrounding national park.

The Penha Longa Resort offers a wide range of other activities for guests such as karting, surfing, and hiking. The resort is located at the centre of Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, and it offers guests an opportunity to experience nature at its peak.
