Le Bela Vista Hotel & Spa - Relais & Châteaux is a stunning adults-only boutique hotel set on the popular Praia da Rocha Beach in the Algarve.

Nearby attractions include the medieval fort Forte de Santa Catarina de Ribamar (1 km), Portimao (5km) and some of the best golf courses in the Algarve including Alto Golf (18 holes, par 70).

The region enjoys long hot summers and pleasant winters.

Accommodation is offers 4 types of rooms - classic, elegance, deluxe and character - and 2 types of suites and distributed between the main building called Palace, the Garden House and the Blue House.

All the rooms and suites have been decorated with bright feel-good colours that make it feel like summer all year round.

They also feature large beds, high-end fabrics, air conditioning and WIFI.

Most have balconies and some have access to the gardens.

Views of the sea or the village can also be enjoyed from some of the rooms and the suites.

Set right by Praia da Rocha - a popular golden sand beach - Le Bela Vista Spa by L'Occitane is the epitome of Portuguese hospitality combined with modern design and luxury.

Its 400sqm are filled with the sweet scents of Florence and are home to 3 treatment rooms and 2 cosy couples' rooms where guests can pamper themselves with facial and body treatments.

Additional beauty rituals include manicures and pedicures.

A sauna, a Hammam and a wet relaxation room provide get retreats where guests can lose track of time or stretch after a workout at the well-equipped fitness lounge.

Further relaxation awaits outside, around the large outdoor pool where they can laze the day away on one of the loungers or the gorgeous poolside cabanas.

VISTA Restaurante with Michelin Star offers menu inspired by national and Mediterranean cuisine, with respect for the original flavors and the fresh ingredients.

Special Info

Praia da Rocha is a sandy beach with clear water that can be quite cold.

It is easily accessed by a private path from the hotel.

It can get busy during the hotter months but small coves and quiet areas can be found away from the more urban area.

There are beachside restaurants and plenty of beach activities including snorkelling, banana rides, diving centres and yacht and jet ski rentals.
