Located an hour and a half south of Bern, and two hours north of Geneva, the legendary Gstaad has long been the place to ski for jet setting celebrities, with everyone from Madonna to Princess Diana having been spotted around town.

Ultima Hotel Gstaad lies just metres from the nearest ski lift, meaning you’ll be traveling from your luxurious lodging to the snowfields faster than you can say lickety-split.

The hotel is 1 km from the Gstaad train station and a 10-minute drive from the airport.

Rooms & Suites

This beautiful boutique lodging is comprised of 11 suites and 6 spacious residences, the latter of which are ideal for larger groups.

Each suite revolves around a glimmering bronze clad fireplace – an obligatory centrepiece for a cosy ski lodge atmosphere.

Solid timber walls and plush fur furnishings add to the rich ambiance, as do the lush designer upholstery and colossal grey marble bathrooms, which are complete with rain showers and a bathtub big enough for two.

Expect to find a private balcony in every room with stunning views of the valley.

Featuring between two and four bedrooms, the roomier residences make for an excellent co-living space for families and larger groups who prefer to keep to themselves. Each comes complete with a fully equipped marble clad kitchen as well as a lush dining space and cosy lounge for up to 10 guests. Crystal chandeliers and posh velvet armchairs come part of the parcel.

Of course, not everyone likes to cook, which is why guests can order in a private chef to prepare them an exquisite meal.

Pools & Facilities

Kicking back in a sauna or a hot tub is the ideal way to finish a tough day on the slopes; thus it’s understandably a popular pastime at the Ultima Gstaad.
