Chalet Grumer Suites & Spa is located in the pristine Ritten Plateau, an area found in Italy that is traditionally renowned for its abundance of holiday resorts.

It is located 1,100 meters above sea level and is surrounded by 17 traditional Italian villages.
At the foot of the plateau stands Bolzano, the provincial capital of South Tyrol which is accessible by a 30-minute drive or by 11 minutes cable car drive.
The Dolomites, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, surrounds Chalet Grumer and endows it with spectacular mountain views.
The ski areas of picturesque South Tyrol can be reached by helicopter in 5-10 minutes flight from the hotel’s private helicopter landing platform.

Rooms & Suites

The holiday resort sports five spacious suites and can accommodate a total of 14 guests at a time.

Rooms sizes range from 45 to 75 m2, each providing space for at least two people.
These suites contain private balconies, terraces, and gardens, with some suites containing other features such as a separate living area and a private Jacuzzi.
All suites have large windows that provide guests with stunning views of the mountainside.

Pools & Facilities

Chalet Grumer’s spa, Grumer’s Grooming, boasts a classic Finnish sauna, a bio-sauna, and a steam room.

This facility is adorned with a Dolomite stone fountain to complete the ambiance.
There is also an indoor pool with integrated massage jets, as well as a heated outdoor hot tub that allows guests to view the mountain scenery as they relax.
There is also a fitness area for people who want a quick workout.
Afterward, they can go to the meditation room which allows guests to unwind, as well as an alpine vitality area where guests can choose from a wide variety of juices and teas while reading magazines and daily newspapers.
Certainly massages are offered using biological oils from the region.

Food & Drinks

The restaurant Grumer’s Gourmet serves authentic Italian cuisine, offering guests a wide variety of local South Tyrolean dishes as well as international gourmet options.

Its Alpine-Mediterranean dishes incorporate local products, as the chef personally handpicks the best ingredients during his daily morning trip to the surrounding Italian villages.
The five-course menu is accompanied by high-quality Italian wines, newly sourced from the Chalet Grumer’s local wine cellar.
Also à la carte is offered to compose your menu as you like.

Chalet Grumer Suites & Spa started as a simple farm over 700 years ago until Philip Benincà, owner of the Chalet Grumer, decided to rebuild the place as a haven for his guests.

After 30 years of hard work, the exclusive resort was finally opened, offering visitors a tranquil escape from the hectic city life.
The newly refurbished Chalet Grumer extensively uses traditional decors, wood accents, and warm colors to create an atmosphere that evokes feelings of nostalgia.
