Lovely hotel, wonderful staff, and great location. The only negative was the price of breakfast and the lack of space in the restaurant.

Beautiful, well appointed Bavarian gem in Munich. Old world charm with all the modern conveniences and excellent service. Easy train access and walking distance to all the most interesting sights, shopping and restaurants All the staff were excellent and helpful. From check in to special requests for event tickets, everything was taken care of to provide a stress free holiday Absolutely thrilled with our room. Comfortable and inviting we thoroughly enjoyed our last 5 night in Germany here. Hope to return someday!

Arrived at Hotel an hour or so before check in. Rooms not ready yet. We went out to eat lunch. Came back to Hotel 3:30pm. Room not ready still. Finally checked into room around 6:00pm. Bags already brought up. Went out for dinner 6:15pm came back 8:30pm. Master bedroom is freezing. No Heat coming out of heater. Called front desk and they sent someone right away. He checked all heaters but the master bedroom had issue. He brought us portable Heater and told us he will have someone check all systems in the morning. Our master bedroom was on the Bayerische Strasse side. Too noisy all night long! Kids room all quiet on the inner courtyard side. I think better soundproofing for windows! Left room early next day and Heater in master was fixed when we got back. Otherwise a good experience at Excelsior Hotel. Staff very helpful!
