Location

Tiny little Stuben is among the most laidback of Alberg’s countless little villages; only a sprinkling of upmarket lodgings line its switchback laden hills. The lodge lies within a minutes walk of the Skipiste chairlift, which makes hitting the slopes each morning a breeze. For a little more variety, you could always drive on over to Zurs or St. Christoph which lie just 10 minutes away.

Transferring from Innsbruck Airport will take you about an hour and a half.

Property

Spread over four spacious floors, this expansive 400 m2 chalet boasts enough room to host up to 16 discerning guests in utmost style. Seven en-suite bedrooms spread over the lower two levels, each with an Apple TV and kitted out in chic contemporary décor. One of the doubles comes with two standalone single beds, making it ideal for mid-sized families.

Wall-mounted wild trophies and other alpine-inspired ornaments decorate the exposed timber walls of the semi open-plan living and dining space, while plush furry rugs add a luxurious touch. In the middle of it all is a roaring natural stone fireplace, which ensures everyone remains all snuggly and warm. Next door, a fully-equipped Gaggenau kitchen is great for whipping up a gourmet feast.

The high-tech cinema room is an idyllic place to watch a flick, and the kids will love letting loose in the child-friendly rumpus room. Downstairs is a laundry room and a ski locker with an in-built boot warming rack.
